Back in Berkeley.

I won't say more. LA driving was crazy.. we tried to pull some crazy swap-our-car-with-rental-car-plus-park-at-airport-parking maneuveur that was just slightly too sophisticated for two directionless idiots.. Anyhowz, hurrah, our springs didn't break, although our rental car suffered a mysterious case of radio-coma during most of our trip.... all in all, the desert was great.. death valley was.. much too cold for me to lay any impressive claims... (darn, should've went in summer).

I'm trying not to think about the day after tomorrow. (which coincidentally is both 3rd April and the first day of school.)
